Residential Earthquake
Residential Earthquake Insurance
At a time when most other insurance companies are offering very limited earthquake policies in California, Coastal Select Insurance Company offers a variety of products designed to fit within your budget and help you tailor your earthquake coverage to meet your family's needs. Coastal Select estimates the minimum amount of insurance that a California homeowner may need to rebuild their home after an earthquake. The estimate includes the increased building costs for labor and materials following a catastrophic event such as an earthquake.
California homeowners may be eligible for earthquake insurance through GeoVera Insurance Company, a subsidiary of GeoVera Holdings, Inc. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-324-6020 if you are interested in obtaining an alternative quote, or visit www.geovera.com.
PREMIER EQ PROTECTOR™
Our most comprehensive policy, the Premier EQ Protector™ goes beyond the coverages available in most earthquake polices in California. Designed for customers interested in protecting their valuable assets, Premier EQ Protector™ provides coverages for your home, appurtenant structures such as detached garages and patios, and personal property. This combined with Loss of Use and Building Ordinance coverage and a low deductible of 10% (and, for some areas, 15% with a lower premium), make the Premier EQ Protector™ one of the best policies available.
SECURITY EQ PROTECTOR™
The Security EQ Protector™ was designed for homeowners interested in protecting their most valuable asset, their home, from the catastrophic loss of an earthquake without some of the additional coverage features offered in our Premier EQ Protector™ policy. The Security EQ Protector™ provides coverage for the replacement cost of the dwelling with limited coverage for Personal Property and Loss of Use. Building Ordinance coverage is also provided for security from additional expenses associated with rebuilding to current code in the event of a covered loss.
CONDO EQ PROTECTOR™
Coastal Select Insurance Company understands the unique insurance needs of condominium owners. You need protection for your valuable personal property, building enhancements in your unit, and any loss assessments made by your association resulting from damage caused by an earthquake. The Condo EQ Protector™ is designed specifically to meet these needs. With broader coverage and lower deductibles than available on most standard condominium earthquake policies, the Condo EQ Protector™ reduces your out-of-pocket expense and helps ensure you will be covered in the event of an earthquake loss.
